Healing is going well, just waiting for him to wake up....

Cory's injuries below the neck all seem to be healing well. I can't imagine how much pain he would be in if he was fully alert!
We are just waiting for more from the head injury. He has responded to basic commands, but still is not very alert. He is also fighting a bacterial infection that is showing resistance to normal antibiotics. They are picking different antibiotics to work at fighting the infection.

The Ronald McDonald House charities had a "Battle of the Bakers" fundraiser. We are staying with them. I can't express how much they do for families that are suffering with their children. From physical sustenance to a loving shoulder, they are just fantastic. They have pressing needs for donations and volunteers, so please help them out if you can (I know we will be!). Savannah area story about students volunteering at RMHC
I will try to find a post about their "Battle of the Bakers" fundraiser. Suffice it to say, it was good we were all so close to the hospital in case anyone ended up in a sugar induced coma! (Description of Event)
