Cory had an excellent day yesterday. He was more alert than previously. He doesn't seem too confused or upset so far. They took his trache and capped it yesterday. So, he is breathing out of his mouth and nose now and is doing well. They also completed the sensitivity labs for the bacterial infection he has in his lungs and the antibiotic he is currently on is killing it.
Late yesterday evening, he seemed to have an allergic reaction to one of the medications. We stayed with him for quite a while and it finally subsided.
All in all, he is doing quite well.

What a roller coaster you are on. This ride is tough for a while, but there seems to be a big light at the end of the tunnel. He's strong, and he has you both right there to help him stay strong. How are you both doing? Much love and prayers your way.
