So far, so good.

Cory is getting more active. He is working at trying to scratch where his scars are healing. This morning the respiratory therapist asked him if he was going to open his eyes for her, and he squinted them shut and shook his head "NO". He is opening his eyes a little wider and is able move them to look in the direction of the person that is talking to him.
He is slowly coming around!

  6. We new he could do it cause he is a tough guy. He is also a little stinker not wanting to do what he is told. I think this is just wonderful. We send tons of hugs and kisses to all of you.

  7. Brother Fife, I am James Fillerups older sister, Aubrey Walker. We met at his farwell a few weeks ago. My mom just told me today about Cory and my heart hurts for you. Know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. You have such an amazing family and I know my family cherishes your friendship. I have to tell you that we have taken some of your parenting advice. That is when our kids complain about dinner...Ben dishes them up a second helping :) Lots of Love, Aubrey
